Banquets

Minimum of two orders for Banquets due to the variety of included dishes. Banquets are required to be ordered for the whole table. To ensure consistent quality, our staff cannot alter the menu, with the exception of  Vegetarian or Special Dietary requirements.

3. Sekh Kabab (Marinated Lamb Mince) – $35.00

Served with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni). (3 Skewers)

4. Mixed Kabab Skewers – $39.00

Combination of Lamb and Chicken Skewers, served with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni). (3 Skewers)

5. Afghani Rice with Mix Kabab skewers – $35.00

Afghan traditional rice served with two skewers of mixed Kababs, Kofta or Koorma Curry, served with
Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni) (single serve)

6. Kabuli Pallow (with Lamb Shank or Chicken Pieces) – $40.00

Traditional Afghani rice flavoured with cumin powder and cardamom, cooked with boneless chicken pieces or lamb shank, and dressed with a layer of finely sliced caramelised carrots and burberry, served with  Kofta, Chatni, Salad and Bread (Naan).

7. Biryani Pallow – $35.00

Boneless chicken pieces cooked with traditional Afghani rice, fl avoured with herbs and spices served with
Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

8. Chicken Korma – $35.00

Chicken thigh fi llet cooked in a mild tomato Korma (Curry) served with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips
(Chatni).

9. Meat Ball Curry  (Kofta) – $35.00

Lamb mince marinated with diced onions and herbs, curried in a delicious tomato and pea gravy, served
with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

10. Mantu – $35.00

Traditional Afghani dumplings steam cooked, made from Pastry, Mince and Onions Topped with
Yoghurt and tomato gravy, served with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni). (6 pieces)

11. Chapli Kabab – $35.00

Four patties of spicy grilled Lamb mince, mixed with Herbs, Chili and Onion. Served with Salad, Bread(Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

12. Chicken Karae – $35.00

Chicken fi llet pieces marinated with garlic, fresh herbs and fried with tomatoes, green chilli and served
on a karae (special dish), served with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

13. Dopiyaza (Chicken Jelfrezi) – $35.00

Diced chicken fi llet pieces cooked with sliced capsicum and onion. Flavoured with mild chilli and
served with Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

 3. Vegetarian Ashaak – $35.00

Steam cooked pastry fi lled with chives and Leek, topped with a rich mixed vegetable gravy and yogurt. Served with Rice, Salad, Bread (Naan), and Dips (Chatni). (6 pieces)

 4. Borani Banjan (Eggplant) – $35.00

Fried Eggplant covered with a fresh tomato and yoghurt sauce. Served with Rice, Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

5. CAULIFLOWER CURRY (KORMA) – $35.00

Served with Rice, Salad, Bread (Naan) and Dips (Chatni).

6. Green Okra (Bamia / Bindi) – $35.00

Cooked with tomato, onion, garlic and herbs. Served with Rice, Salad, Bread (Naan), and Dips (Chatni).

7. Potato Borani – $35.00

Finely sliced fried potato covered with fresh cooked tomatoes and yoghurt sauce. Served with Rice, Salad, Bread (Naan), and Dips (Chatni).

 

Seafood

1. Spicy Battered Fish Fillet – $35.00

Marinated in Afghan-style herbs and spices, served with Salad, Bread(Naan), and Dips (Chatni)

2. Prawn curry – $35.00

Prawns cooked with a mild creamy sauce (onion, tomato and coriander), served with Salad, Bread
(Naan), and Dips (Chatni)

Traditional green tea flavored with a touch of cardamom and organic saffron

Gulab Jaman (1 piece + cup of tea) – $6.00

This fried treat will satisfy your sweet tooth. Dough balls are fried and soaked overnight in a sugar syrup.
